I haven't been able to go into the woods to take pictures with my nifty tripod a. because I don't really like to go alone b. because I don't really have anyone besides Anthony to go hiking/photographing with. Anthony said we could go this weekend, but he's just not that into the whole photography thing. When someone isn't really as into something as you are, it kind of puts a damper on things. Bummer. For now, I am still sticking with my backyard...

Waking Life left a great quote in a comment on my previous post. It reads:
"'We fashion bloggers are like postmen--"neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these (bloggers) from the swift completion of their appointed (photo shoots).'"
So true. I'm so glad Nadia helped me out! I'm sure she'd probably go along with me to nature-y settings, but our schedules clash and we live about 40 minutes from each other.
I've been reading everyone's Chictopia 10/NYFW posts and I noticed that many of the girls who attended were disappointed with how little time they got to talk to one another. Suddenly, I had a thought! Why only meet up with fellow bloggers once a year at an organized and scheduled event? Why not just plan a blogger meet-up for the fun of it?!
I just wish I knew some bloggers in the New England area. That would make things a WHOLE lot easier. The only one I know of is Pauline from
paulinabelle, but we haven't even really talked over the Internet (with the exception of a few Chictopia comments here and there) so it'd be weird to be like "HEY! Let's meet up!". Maybe someday I can plan a meet-up once I get to know more local bloggers, but for now it's just a thought!

I'm starting to think these yellow tights are a little TOO bright. They can work at times, but I think I need to invest in a lighter/paler shade of yellow tights.
This is one of my all-time favorite dresses. It's the perfect cut and shape! I love the little folded-down collar detail and buttons on the bodice. It reminds me of the '50s and somewhat of the pin-up style, but I believe the listing said it's from the '80s. It has pockets too! :)

Here are some pictures from when I first got the dress back in September:

These were when I was first starting to use the self-timer and getting into outfit shots. I actually like that last picture because it's blurry. It makes me think of the old pictures I have of my grandparents.
It was in the 40's here today and according to the forecast it's supposed to stay in the 40's for the next week! It seems that spring is just a coat-toss away! :)
