Testing...

Today I tested out my new flexible tripod and my new belt. The grips on the tripod work pretty okay. I just don't think that there's a lot of things in my yard that it can really grip to. I'm itching to go out to some of the hiking trails and take pictures there. These are shots where the tripod was gripped to either the large post of my porch or one of the spindles.

[Woops!]

It turned out that the lighting was better in my usual location, so I took the rest of the pictures there.

Dress: Vintage from eBay
Sweater: Forever 21

Belt: Thrifted from Goodwill (for 99 cents!)

Tights: APT. 9
Oxfords: Pineapple from GoJane.com

I got this dress at the end of the summer for about $25. I'm pretty sure I got it from Meat Market Vintage. They're one of my favorite eBay stores. They always have great vintage dresses. I still have money left on the eBay gift card that my mom got me for Christmas so I'll probably be buying something new pretty soon! :)

I was supposed to go see The Lightning Thief with Anthony today, but the first show was in the afternoon and he would've been late to work if we went. So we will go back to our original plan of seeing it as well as The Wolfman after brunch on Valentine's Day. :)

I have a thing for sepia. I just love the look of sepia pictures! They remind me of old timey pictures. :)

Some photos just look better in sepia, just like some look better in black and white. It's cool how taking away color can actually enhance the look and mood of a picture.
