"...I Guess I'm Kinda Mad About Ya"

Sunday I attended my nephew's baptism and reception. We actually have the same birthday. He stole it by 13 minutes, I believe. It's ok though because he's just so adorable! :)

Here's what I wore:

Shirt: H&M
Skirt: Forever 21

Tights: APT. 9

Boots: Forever 21

I wore this skirt with a different shirt and tights about a month ago. I think I like it better this way though. It's such a fun skirt to style because of the stripes and belt!

I've been so incredibly happy this past week. I found someone who is exactly like me only in boy-form. His name is Chris and he is like my twin. Seriously...sometimes it's like he is in my head. It's insane, but in that shouting-from-a-rooftop-because-you're-so-damn-happy kind of insane. In a nutshell, he is a kid at heart just like I am and it's amazing. We can both just be ridiculous and silly together and it's the best. There is so much more, but I won't ramble on too much... :)

Frolicking in the Park!

I had the best day yesterday! Prepare for a bit of picture overload.
My friend Meaghan and I went to the park. It was such a nice day for it! She brought a picnic basket full of snacks and Yoo-Hoo, which was delightful. :)

We sat on a blanket and listened to music as we came up with a list of adventures to take this summer! We also did cartwheels, frolicked, and took silly pictures.

After that, we ventured over to the swing set and swung for a bit!

From there, we moved on to the playground.

[Avast!]

[Tunnel!]

[We were jumping on a bouncy bridge. Haha.]

After running around on the playground, we sat on a bench that overlooked the marina and chatted.

[Pussy willooooow.]

We had a lovely afternoon! I love going to the park. It reminds me of being a kid and I love to be outside, enjoying the sunshine. :)

I took some outfit shots of what I wore earlier in the day before we went. I really love this dress. I love prairie dresses and this one has the cutest pattern. They're little sunflowers (one of my favorite flowers!)!

This dress is one of my many eBay finds. It's from the 70's! It's in really good condition though and I love the fit and how comfortable it is.

Dress: Vintage from the 70's
Sweater: Vera Wang

Belt: Thrifted
Shoes: Gap

Sunglasses: Forever 21

[Just the dress. A little too bright, though. :\]

"I Just Thought I'd Tell Ya, All The Demons Have Been Slain."

I am back! I was going through a rough patch, but lately I have been in the best mood ever. :D I've been spending a lot of time with my friends, talking to new people and plus it's SUPER nice out! I even literally swung the day away last week. Well, maybe not the whole day, but a whole afternoon!

My butt hurt afterwards and it was weird to walk for a bit, but it was completely worth it! :)

Now onto the outfit shots:

Dress: Forever 21
Tights: Modcloth
Shoes: Mudd
Hair Bow: Forever 21

I just got this dress over the weekend when my friend Meaghan and I went to the mall. I've been wanting to add more lace into my wardrobe and this dress is just adorable! It was a very exciting moment when I spotted it. :) I got another lacy dress from H&M too, so I did pretty well.

All of the stores have their spring/summer collections in and it's really exciting! So many dresses and rompers and pastels and brights. Although autumn is my favorite season, springtime is my favorite time for fashion. 'Why?', you may ask. One word: Florals. :)

Everything is so fresh and pretty in the spring...oh, and WARM. It's always the best when you finally don't need to wear a winter coat to go out! If I didn't have things to get done today, I would've stood out in the sun all day! There's nothing like the sun on your face.

My spring break is next week which I'm extremely happy about. This semester hasn't been the greatest for me. I'm looking forward to the end of it. On the other hand, this semester ending means I will be a senior! Eek! It's both scary and exciting...but mostly scary.

I'm so glad to be back here with all you lovely bloggers. I want to thank everyone for all the kind comments on my last post. I felt really bad about neglecting this blog, but I just wasn't inspired much over these past few weeks. Coming here and reading all of your blogs never fails to spark some sort of inspiration though! So thank you all for being so sweet and awesome. :)
