Autumn To-Do List

It's finally here! My favorite month! And no, it's not just because it's my birthday month. October is the peak of the season with the best fall weather. It's when all the leaves slowly start to turn and the air really gets that lovely crispness to it. It's the epitome and perfect embodiment of autumn. Yup...I went there.

This season does things to me. Good things, not weird things. Well, maybe a little weird depending on your level of enthusiasm. It makes me want to run through orchards, eating apples off the trees. I want to jump in piles of leaves and throw them in the air as I run around outside all day. I want to wear a Halloween costume for the majority of the month. I suddenly get urges for pumpkin seeds, apple cider, and new tights. I feel the need to watch Hocus Pocus every single night. I can't stop singing songs from Nightmare Before Christmas (I like the songs more than the actual movie). I start scouring the seasonal sections of every store I go in to see what fun and cute things they have. And I scour the grocery store for seasonal varieties of candies, cookies, etc. I also feel the need to dance around in my underwear to the Monster Mash... Was that too much? Let's just move on...

So this is my sort of bucket list for the season that I wanted to share with you all. As you saw in my last post, I already got Corn Maze checked off! A lot of this stuff I want to wait to do until the leaves start to change a little more. But I'll probably try to go apple picking soon, as well as have a fire! I'm definitely baking some yummy autumn treats this weekend because my friend is having an autumn-themed party! The local grocery store will soon be pillaged of all it's canned pumpkin. They have been warned.

  1. I know what you mean!! As soon as I could feel that cool Autumn breeze (when I was living in the U.S.), I instantly wanted to run around in joy. I was THAT person that would go up to piles of colorful autumn leaves on the floor and run, throw, jump, hop in them, etc... well, you get the picture. Sadly, Panama doesn't have Autumn (tropical weather all year long). But I am still very excited about October because its Halloween, its my birthday, its Panama Fashion Week, AND I'm going to Disney! Yai! Hope you get to do all the things on your bucket list, they sound like fun :)
