To make these, you just need two ingredients: Oreos and brownie mix! I bought store-bought brownie mix because I was making a bunch of stuff for a party and decided this would just be quicker. You can make your own brownie mix if you'd like, though!
To make these, all you have to do is dip the Oreos into the brownie batter and then place them into muffin tins. Things get a little messy when making these. Your fingers are going to be covered in brownie batter and you will not be able to resist licking it all off. Go ahead. Try. I dare you.
Once they're done baking, just use a plastic knife or something like it to carefully run around the edges of the brownies. Carefully take them out of the tins, let them cool, and dig in! If you'd like, you can decorate them with icing and sprinkles too! I just left them plain.

Source: Picky Palate
Ingredients:
1 Brownie mix (or use your own brownie recipe)
1 package Oreos
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare brownie batter according to package directions. Leave in mixing bowl. Dip Oreos in brownie batter then place in bottom of cupcake tins that have been generously sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until brownies are cooked through (doesn’t take long). As soon as you remove, take a plastic knife and run along edges, (this is VERY important so you get the cookie out with brownies not stuck to pan).
Let cool for 5 minutes, remove, and drizzle with melted white chocolate or the Wilton White icing pen, sprinkles, or whatever you prefer!
OH MY GOD, these look amazing. I need to make these right away. In addition to making the sudden realization that brownie covered oreos must be added to my daily diet, I also just discovered your blog and I love your style!
ReplyDeleteWelcome....and thanks! :) Glad you like the recipe. I like the fact that these can easily be turned festive by using Halloween Oreos or Holiday Oreos! :)
