As you may know, I absolutely love orchards. And since we aren't able to pick citrus in the Northeast, it's always exciting to get to pick some here in Florida! We went to this orchard called Showcase of Citrus, which I went to with my parents when we came down here in March. They didn't have lemons and limes available to pick then, which is what I really wanted to pick, but luckily they had them this time. I made sure to pick a bunch! They all smelled so good and yummy.
They have a cute little market area where you can buy already picked fruits, local honey and sauces, etc. They also had samples of some of their fruits that you can try. I love being able to get fresh products that are locally grown. There's a sort of retro vibe to this place too, which is always fun! They had retro gas pumps and vintage signs on the walls.
I haven't forgotten my autumn colors, since it
is still November and it's autumny somewhere! I decided to wear this burnt orange top to keep in season with New England and to also go along with the oranges in the orchard. :)

I didn't really pick too many oranges. They're so good here, but I've never really loved eating oranges. I love orange-flavored things, though. Lemons are actually the citrus fruit that I love to eat the most! Whenever I get a lemon wedge at a restaurant, I always suck on it and eat it.
Last night I tried something that I didn't think I ever would... I tried fried gator tail! I didn't really care for it because it was sort of fishy and I'm not a huge fan of seafood, but I'm proud of myself for trying it. I'm notorious for being a picky eater and never really trying new things. I've been getting over that these past couple of years, though.
This looks like so much fun!! And you look just too adorable in this outfit, I love it.
