Despite the cooler temperatures and my opposite season colors, spring is in full swing around here. All the trees have bloomed and there are tulips everywhere. I wish it can be like this all year round. Well, except for autumn.

The upcoming weeks/month are going to be super busy for me. Pretty much this month and June are going to be full of lots of birthdays, parties, weddings, showers, and concerts coming up! Not to mention Memorial Day. I love Memorial Day because it's like the official beginning of cookout season. There's nothing quite like the taste of a burger cooked on the grill. It's probably one of the greatest smells ever, too. I also can't wait for watermelon, the ice cream man, and swimming!
Is it just me, or does anyone else have an aversion to "picnic" salads? I hate potato salad, macaroni salad, and egg salad. I hate mayonnaise so maybe that has something to do with it. I love a good old-fashioned garden salad, though. Jeez, I'm going all over the place with seasons in this post. Now I'm starting to talk about more summery things...
I hope everyone is having a lovely spring, so far. I've been loving all the springy posts I've been seeing, lately! I've been trying to get to the orchard to see the blooms on the apple trees, but things just keep coming up. It rained today (my day off) and this weekend, so I'm crossing my fingers that they will still be in bloom next week!

I love your choice of tights so much that I hope you'll wear them sometimes even when summer comes. Don't get rid of them so soon, they make you someone special! Besides, you look so pretty in these pictures. Lovely dress!

Yay that twig necklace makes another appearance. Stunning shots my lovely and i'm loving those burnt orange tights I agree I love autumn colour palettes also! and It's such confusing weather over here in the UK. Sunning one day, raining the next! I'm still wearing skin coloured tights!

Oh I KNOW! I am so ready for warmth, it's been bouncing from like 80 degrees to 40. I don't get it! I love these colors though, the pastel flats make it a little bit more springy!
