So this week is the first week of classes for grad school! I'm officially a graduate student, taking classes and having homework assignments again. It's a weird feeling to have readings and assignments again. I've been out of school for two years now, so to be back in feels a little weird, but also familiar and refreshing.
I've always been good at school. I was always a good student and secretly enjoyed writing essays and whatnot. I definitely did not like most of the sciences and math, as much though. The only math I liked was basic algebra and trigonometry. I wasn't a fan of biology (especially when we had to dissect things...ick!) or physics, but I liked chemistry and I also love things like astronomy. Anyway...being back in school is sort of like reuniting with an old friend who you had a love/hate relationship with. It's familiar and exciting, but you know that there's probably going to be those moments that are going to stress you out and drive you crazy.

Hope you have a fantastic day,

Brilliant look. Amazing scenery. I'm still very much impressed how you choose your backgrounds... And of course I'm still in love with your style!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute little outfit. I love the colors, and the scarf is so pretty. Yay for grad school! I've been out for 2 years too, so it'd be strange for me to get back into it... but luckily, I imagine you're learning about what you love! :)

Goodness, you look adorable! You styled that beautifully colored cardigan so perfectly. The purple flats are such a playful touch. Best of luck to you at grad school, and I'm following your charming blog now!

It's normal these first times that you will be anxious, and stressed, and until you get a fixed routine sometimes it will be hard to congate everything in schedule. But you will do it, you are strong and when we have to fight to what you want. And I say to myself everytime I think I'm doing to much " Life it's only one so let's live it and do whatever we can do".
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for you on grad school, you are starting and I'm ending my master these year :)

School is definitely a love/hate relationship. I find the grad school essay workload 20x worse than undergrad. I'll definitely be glad to be done in a year! I hope your studies go well though!
ReplyDeleteI also really love the color pairing in this outfit. That cardigan is a great color! The scarf is such a cute accessory too.
Do you happen to know the name of those shoes on Modcloth?
ReplyDeleteI don't. :( They were a gift from a friend about 4 years ago.
