I Felt Like Barbie

You know those days when you go to do a shoot and it just seems like nothing is going right? The lighting is weird, the location doesn't feel right, the coloring is off. That's what my day was like with this shoot. I just wasn't feelin' it. I was by some ponds and hiking trails where the lighting just wasn't doing it for me. Then I decided this outfit is better suited for the beach, but when I went to the beach, it was too windy. I despise wind with all of my being. I couldn't win that day, but I still managed to get a few shots to use.

This outfit made me feel like Barbie. A bright pink polka-dotted crop top with jean shorts and colorful shoes? It felt like something she'd wear for a beach day. I had a lot of Barbies when I was little, but I never really LOVED Barbie. I do have some specialty collectors Barbies that are still in their boxes that my mom saved for me when I was little. I have no idea where they are or if they're worth anything, though.

These pictures were actually taken almost a month ago. I have a few shoots from last month that I need to post that all took place before I went to Pennsylvania. I just wanted to post the Pennsylvania ones first so that I wasn't posting those a month after the meet up happened. So prepare for a little bit of time traveling in my next few posts! :)

We've been having such good weather lately! Not too hot, a nice breeze, and cool nights that feel like autumn. I'm so pumped for fall fashion and festivities. I can't wait for it to be October!
