Nadia and Jon came over for a day a couple of weekends ago and we visited the beach and lighthouse. We got to watch a really awesome sunset and eating yummy gelato. It was a nice send off to summer.

I'm doing a Harry Potter themed program for the kids at the library I work at. I started making the ties already that I'm going to hand out when I "sort" them into their houses. I'm also going to have them make a potion and drink pumpkin juice. I think it's going to be a lot of fun!

Chris and I went to a state park with our friends to climb down a waterfall before it got too cold out. It was still a little chilly, but when you're climbing down, you get pretty hot. It's kind of relaxing in a way to climb down because you have to focus on where your footing is and it's also kind of like a real-life strategy game. You have to figure out where to move next in order to continue down the falls. It's a little nerve-wracking at times, but it's still fun and the views are great.

Sarah and I did a shoot together where she did some autumn-inspired makeup on me (as you probably saw a couple of posts back). We took pictures in an apple orchard, which was a lot of fun! I am glad to start autumn posts again!

Lately, I've been watching home videos. It's so weird to watch yourself as a little baby and little kid. It's also weird to watch your parents be new parents. It's weird to see all of your relatives younger and it also kind of makes you sad that you couldn't know them longer than you already do. On a lighter note, there are a bunch of ones from me as a little kid in Florida and Disney World. The others are mostly my birthdays and Christmases. There's a couple with me and Ashley together, which is cute. I'm glad that we are cousins but also best friends who are now roommates. Our younger selves would probably be really excited to hear that. Speaking of Ashley, she went to North Carolina and brought me back this awesome Butterbeer cupcake. It was delicious. Also, I got an iced vanilla chai latte at a local coffee shop before heading over to a book sale and had the thought to add a shot of pumpkin into it. I'm glad I did because it was AMAZING.

Hmm...what else have I done this month? I celebrated Banned Books Week at the library by wearing a pin my co-worker gave me. I went apple picking again and got a cider donut (which was delicious). And lastly, last Sunday Chris, Nadia, Jon, and I went to Medieval Times! It was so much fun and the food was good! I loved that there were no utensils and I got to eat half a chicken with my hands. That's my kind of place. We sat in the green section, and our knight won! We got really into it, and it was lots of fun.

Now I'm ready for October and all the awesome autumny fun times it'll bring! :)

I'm so glad your September was good! That cupcake looks amazing and I'm seriously jealous that you've already gone apple picking twice! >.<
