Batty

Not only did ASOS have the glow in the dark pumpkin tights that I got, but they also had these bat patterned tights, and I couldn't resist. It's hard to resist novelty tights that are Halloween-related as it's pretty much my favorite holiday. I'm currently on the lookout for some novelty Christmas/wintery tights. I'm not sure what that would entail, but I'll know it when I see it. Maybe some snowflakes? Some reindeer?

We've had some pretty warm days, recently, which is sort of weird, especially for November. It was in the 60s today and I didn't need a coat. I'm usually pretty much in some sort of winter coat every day by this time of the year.

The day that we took these pictures it was pretty warm as well. These were taken the day of my Halloween party, which I had a lot of fun at. I'm going to have to post pictures of my full costume sometime. I enjoyed dressing up as a villain, but I think next year I might want to be Spiderman/woman/girl/whatever the girl Spiderman costume is called. I like doing costumes where I can have cool makeup, though. That's part of the reason I liked being Poison Ivy. I did my eye makeup to look like leaves. When I was a leopard a couple of years back, I actually drew a leopard print onto my eyelids/brow with eyeliner too!

November has been really relaxing so far. Classes will be done in a couple of weeks and life is sort of dwindling down a bit before the holiday craziness that will ensue. I can't believe that stores are already playing holiday music. I always wait until the day after Thanksgiving to listen to holiday music non-stop.

Speaking of the day after Thanksgiving...I'm not a huge Black Friday person. Every year I think about how many awesome sales there will be, then realize that since I'm not buying electronics or appliances that there's no point in shopping the Black Friday deals. Cyber Monday, on the other hand, is what I'm allllll about. That's where it's at. That usually when online stores (like CLOTHING store) have great deals. Because, you know, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are all about shopping for yourself, right? And you don't have to get up crazy early and be out of the house by 4 A.M. You can shop awesome deals in bed. I'm mostly an online shopper, anyway. I am excellent at finding deals, coupon codes, and finding the place with the best price for something I'm looking for. I love the whole process of hunting for the best deal. Maybe I should do a post on some online shopping tips for the holiday season. Do any of you risk your sanity and go shopping on Black Friday?

  1. I looove the bat tights, and the orange socks are such a cute touch! I stick to the computer on Black Friday. There were a couple of years in high school where I ventured to the mall with friends, but no more. There are far more things I like online anyway :)

  3. Cyber Monday is where it's at! I always end up getting myself too many things while I'm Christmas shopping too. I understand.
Also this outfit is such an awesome fall look! I'm so in love with those bat tights. I wouldn't have thought they're from ASOS. I'll have to check for a pair like those for next fall! I really like the orange socks you paired with them too. So cute!
