I Put A Spell On You

On the Sunday before Halloween, me, Ashley and our boyfriends went on a day trip to Salem. She had never been, and she was excited to see all the cool witchy stuff up there. We weren't able to end up leaving until the afternoon, though, so we didn't get as much time up there as we planned on, but it was still fun. I've been up there a few times now, so I didn't mind not seeing everything. I just love the atmosphere. It was pretty busy since it was the last weekend before Halloween.

I had to wear my Hocus Pocus necklace again this year. There aren't very many opportunities to break that necklace out, so I take it up when I can. We didn't visit any of the film locations, though, except the building that was used as the exterior of the high school since it's right across from Salem Common.

We got spooked by someone who was dressed up as Jason from Friday the 13th. I think he was actually trying to help me up as I was stepping backwards and tripped since I didn't notice that there were big stones on the ground. I was so taken aback, though, that I just wanted him to go away...lol. Ashley was pretty freaked out, which is part of the reason I was backing up and not looking where I was going.

We mostly went into all the unique shops that they have there. It was colder that day, so it was nice to be indoors most of the time. I didn't take that many pictures since it was getting dark and we weren't outdoors too much. I definitely want to go again next year and I eventually want to go to one of the huge parties they have and maybe stay a weekend.
