Alright. I'm sorry for the super long break again. These photos were a challenge to edit and we took A LOT, so there was a lot to get through! I really hate leaving gaps between posts and it seems the time literally just slips away lately. Wasn't it just Easter? I haven't even gotten my Easter photos edited. Le sigh... Sorry for the epic fail, guys.

I teamed up with my friend
Sarah again for this shoot. We have been talking about a spring shoot for a year or more and we finally decided to do it. After looking at some inspiration online, we really liked the idea of using all kinds of different colors on the eyes, so we went with that. The results were really awesome and fun!

It was Sarah's idea to do a sort of ombre lip with pink and yellow. I love when she tries things out like that. It's fun to experiment! I had just recently gotten yellow lipstick by NYX. I really need to wear it alone soon because I love how unique it is! NYX has really awesome lipsticks and makeup in general, and I love that it's very affordable. Their Wicked Lippie colors are AMAZING.

The dress I'm wearing is from
Unique Vintage, and I LOVE it. I had won a gift certificate from a giveaway that
Sammi did a while ago and when I saw that this dress was on sale for just $25, I had to get it. The shape is perfect and I love how poofy it is. It comes with its own little built in petticoat. I wish I got it in red too!

The flower crown is one of the ones that Chris made me as a gift one year! I've gotten a lot of use out of the one he made that has both yellow and white flowers on it, but I felt with all the color on my face, it'd be better to wear a flower crown that was one color.

I am still so in love with this greenhouse, and greenhouses in general. I love the escape they provide when it's cold or rainy outside. These photos were actually taken at the end of March. I am cringing at how far behind I am. Anyway, it was still a little chilly then so it was nice to be in here. Sarah had never been and I think she enjoyed it, too. We discovered a part that I never knew existed, which had all kinds of tropical/international stuff in it, which was really cool!

Since this day, it's gotten a lot warmer, finally. It's pretty much like summer. We have had some 80 degree days, already! New England weather is pretty insane . You never know what it's going to do and sometimes it's like you need two or three different outfits in one day just to keep up.

Not too much has been, except one pretty major thing. I have FINALLY graduated from grad school! I now have a master's degree in Information and Library Science! I AM A MASTER OF THE LIBRARY! Mwahahaha. But seriously, though. It feels so good to be done with it all forever and to have a degree in something that I love. I'm so glad that I figured it out that this is the career for me, and I'm glad that I love it! Congrats to any other graduates! :)
