Yellow Fall

When Dolly and Dotty approached me to do a collaboration with them, I was beyond thrilled! Their online shop is full of vintage and retro-inspired dresses, separates, and more. It was pretty hard to narrow down the dress I wanted to choose, but I finally went with the Lola Dress in yellow. I have been needing a yellow dress for a while, and this was is so classic, fun, and comfortable! It has a great 50s shape to it, polka dots, and comes with an adjustable matching belt.

I love pairing yellow with orange and brown in the fall to mirror the shades of the leaves. I also love that this dress is very easily remixed into lots of different outfits. It's a great standalone piece, but can also be layered for cooler months. Yellow is great because it works in almost any season. I might even use it to Disneybound as Belle when I go to Florida! Is anyone else dying of anticipation for the new Beauty and the Beast movie? I CANNOT WAIT. Beauty and the Beast was my favorite when I was little and it's also my mom's favorite Disney movie. We both can't wait to see it together!

I know that I have said that I usually keep a low profile in November after the craziness of October, but so far, November has been full of travel as well! I went to Amish country for a weekend with Nadia at the beginning of the month. I also went to three different cities to see Good Charlotte on their current tour. Teenage dream complete. They were awesome as usual. I always leave their shows with a good feeling.

My November has started to slow down now, though. Last weekend I worked and then celebrated my dad's birthday with our family. Thanksgiving was pretty quiet since a lot of family is away. I definitely felt like I was going to explode by the end of the day from all the food I ate. This weekend I didn't do much. I slept and rested a lot, which was nice.

I am getting more and more pumped for Christmas despite it not feeling like it's Christmastime yet. I'm not complaining about the weather, though. I've started listening to Christmas music and I did a lot of Christmas shopping online this weekend during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales. I think I got the majority of my shopping done already! Now I can focus on all the upcoming Christmas festivities that will be happening next month and deciding what to do for New Year's. :)
