Last Saturday was the first day of autumn! The joy! The weather was perfect for it too. To celebrate, my friend Joey and I spent the day at a book fair, in a corn maze, and then at a pumpkin farm! What better way is there to start off the season?! On top of it, I decided it was definitely the perfect day to wear all the colors of fall. If I could somehow make a dress out of autumn leaves, I would. But this will have to suffice for now.

Orchards are so cute in the fall. I love all the decorations, the pumpkins, the colors. Just everything! The pumpkin farm has this adorable little store that sells Halloween decorations in the fall and Christmas ones in the winter. I should've bought those little white pumpkins, but they were closing soon and I wanted to get some pictures. They're only a dollar each! I'll just have to go back and get a few. :)
I love corn on the cob, and I wish I could've taken some corn home with me. The maze isn't for picking, though! Corn is just so much better on the cob than from the can...
I feel like the color of my shirt is misconstrued in some of these pictures. It's more of a subdued, burnt orange than a deep red-orange. It's my favorite shade of orange and my favorite color to wear in the fall. I recently got a burnt orange dress by Dear Creatures from Ruche. I really couldn't resist. It's the perfect color and shape! It's a little big on me, but a belt at the waist quickly fixes that. I can't wait to style it and show you guys!
I originally bought these Betsey Johnson tights for my Christmas outfit two years ago. I don't think I've worn them since. They're just so fragile and sheer that I'm afraid if I wear them too much, they'll rip! I know that the point of them is to wear them, but I guess I'm a little protective of them. They're probably easy to find just like my heart print ones, but still. They're Betsey Johnson!
I matched the pumpkins, and Joey ended up matching the corn. I don't think he planned it like I did, though. hehe. I like keeping my outfits in theme with my surroundings sometimes. It's fun to try to create something from a certain color scheme or environment. Nature is such an amazing source of inspiration. Happy October, everyone! It's the best month of the year (and no, it's not just because my birthday is in it!) :D
These photos are so pretty!! Aaawww, how fun to have Autumn, I wish I had Fall!! This looks like such a fun day, I hope you win the raffle!
