Poncho Days

You know those dreary, chilly, rainy, lazy days when you just feel like staying inside and doing indoorsy things? That's what my Wednesday was like. I did manage to get out to take a few outfit pictures, though. 

When I have days like this, sometimes I don't even feel like dressing up, much. This is when I usually pull out my trusty sweater poncho. It's comfy, hooded (in case it rains), and pretty warm, too! It's like the more stylish version of a hoodie. I love that it's loose and baggy in a good way.

I'm really loving this jacket, although I've found it's not that warm on really cool days. I still felt chilly! I'm almost always cold, though. I swear I must be anemic or something.

Since I felt like being inside, I decided to bake a couple of things for the Halloween party I'm going to tonight. I baked apple cookies and more pumpkin poppers. I had a 50% off coupon for Michael's, so I went and got a mini muffin pan. I used that pan this time and made the pumpkin poppers the size they're supposed to be. They are so cute!

I also practiced doing my makeup for my Halloween costume. This is how my practice run turned out! I didn't have mascara on me, so I went sans that. I was excited about my little leopard spots! I'll have to get pictures of the actual final result, mascara and all!

I hope you all have a fun pre-Halloween weekend! I have one party down this weekend, and one to go! We're supposed to possibly get hit with Hurricane Sandy next week. :\ I'm hoping it just doesn't. We keep getting strange weather for Halloween. Last year we had snow...in October. This year we may have a hurricane. So crazy!
