I'm still waiting for it to warm up a bit around here, but that's not stopping me from breaking out the florals for springtime. I was determined to wear florals yesterday, and I realized that I have a lot of floral dresses that I never wear! I haven't worn this dress in four years. I had worn it for Easter in 2009. I got it off eBay and it's vintage, but I'm not sure which decade it's from. I really love the dainty floral pattern and colors. It's perfect for spring! It also has these really poofy sleeves that make me feel like a Disney character...haha. It's finally supposed to really warm up a little tomorrow and Tuesday. Tuesday is supposed to be 72!!
My friend Joey and I spent the afternoon gallivanting around outside since it was semi-nice out. We went to different beaches and whatnot. These pictures were taken in front of a church. I love how bright and bold the red doors of the church are against the white of the building.
Today a couple of friends and I went to a huge IMAX theater in New York to see Jurassic Park in IMAX 3D. It was so exciting and awesome. Jurassic Park is in my top five favorite movies of all time. I've loved it since I was a little kid and that love has never wavered. My favorite part is the kitchen scene. I'm also a huge fan of the books. They're kind of different from the movies, but they're still so good. I can read them over and over again.

We also did a bit of shopping at the mall that the theater was in before the movie started. I got a cute Minnie Mouse sweatshirt from Forever 21. We also went to this store that I've never even heard of that was pretty cool. It was called Uniqlo. It reminded me of American Apparel a bit because they have lots of basic pants, dresses, tops, tights, etc. in many different colors. I didn't end up getting anything there, but it was definitely good to discover!
You always have the most stylish friends, I must say. And this dress is adorable - the skirt is amazing! The church is also such a castle like Disney place for photos - churches are a default place for me to take photos at actually because they usually have great architecture.
