May Day & Lisa Leonard Designs Giveaway!

I am so excited to announce my very first giveaway! And I'm delighted to say that it is courtesy of Lisa Leonard Designs. It's been in the works for a couple of weeks now, but I wanted it to be a sort of surprise. I did this shoot on the 1st, so I thought this would be a great way to wish you all a (late) Happy May Day! May you be surrounded by flowers and warmth!

Lisa Leonard Designs is an online shop specializing in handcrafted jewelry and decor.  Lisa and her team hand cut, polish, and assemble their products by hand. That means every piece is made with love and care. :) They do a lot of custom pieces too, which always make for great gifts.

What's great about Lisa is that she is so clearly passionate about her work and she is just so real. She is a self-taught, DIY aficionado with a passion for creating meaningful pieces. She started making jewelry as a teenager and has continued to build on her skills ever since. Lisa draws inspiration from the world around her, which is definitely seen in the piece that I got to wear for this shoot. It's a little tiny twig! I'm a huge nature and forest fan, so I was instantly drawn to this necklace. It was made from a cast of an actual twig, so it's like I'm wearing a golden copy of a little part of a tree! Please tell me I'm not the only one fascinated by this. I also love how it kind of looks like a little swing. :)

Some pieces offered by Lisa Leonard Designs are part of their "hope-(full)" collection. If you purchase a piece from this collection, part of the proceeds get donated to a non-profit organization in Ecuador called Jungle Kids. Jungle Kids helps to alleviate poverty for young children living in the jungle of Ecuador.
