Carnival Season

It's that time again...carnival season! While there's not really much to do at carnivals now that I'm older, I still love going. They're one of my favorite places to take pictures of and at. Plus, they always have yummy food. The fried dough is and has always been my favorite. :)

I got this tank top a couple of months ago and knew it'd be perfect for summer. I'm a huge fan of novelty prints, and these little ice cream cones are perfect! And the stripes of this skirt remind me of a candy striper. I felt like this was the perfect outfit for a summertime festival.

These pictures are from various carnivals/fairs I've been to over the last month, but this outfit was from the town's festival before the fireworks. Honestly, I was kind of disappointed with the display in our town this year. They weren't that great, and it seemed a lot shorter than they usually are. It's not a huge deal, though. I saw other ones that were even better!

The heat and humidity is making it hard to enjoy outdoor activities lately. We had a break from the humidity for a little while, but now it's back with thunderstorm warnings looming over us again. I really hope the entire summer isn't mostly humid, gloomy days. Especially since I have a giant cookout planned for a couple of weeks from now! :)
