I ordered this dress from ModCloth at the same time that I ordered the space dress from
one of my previous posts. When I first saw this dress, I knew it'd be good for Thanksgiving because of the fall colors and basic shape of it. It seemed like it would be comfy, and it turns out I was right. It's really comfortable and perfect for a day of shoveling food into yourself. The material stretches to accommodate the expansion of your stomach and the food baby inside of it. The belt had to come off after dinner, though.

I didn't really go shopping on Black Friday. My dad and I went out in the afternoon to get some stuff for my mom, but we weren't going for the deals or anything. I always do my Christmas shopping online, so Cyber Monday is where it's at for me. I got about half of the people on my list done during the Cyber Monday deals. There were so many awesome deals going on that it was hard to resist the temptation to get things for myself, but I didn't really give in! The only thing I did was order a new pair of jeans from American Eagle. My favorite pair of jeans are from there and they have a hole in the butt now, so I needed a new pair and everything was 50% off on American Eagle's website! How could I say no to that?

I still have around seven more people to buy for but some are just gift cards ,which is always easy. My mom's side of the family does Secret Santa every year. We pick names on Thanksgiving and then we all go around and say what we want. I always ask for a mall gift card. I wanted to say ModCloth gift certificate, but I'm always afraid that someone who doesn't know how to go about doing that online will pick me and not be able to do it. Oh well!

I've run into a dilemma with my Christmas dress. You know, the awesome one that I wore in the spooky shoot I did in October. I don't think I'm going to wear it anymore for Christmas. :\ The gold sequined jacket that I got to wear with it doesn't look right with it and neither does any of the other cropped cardigans I have. I wish I had a little fur capelet or stole to wear with it, but I shouldn't really be spending money on myself right now. Plus, I would definitely be freezing, and let's not even get into how uncomfortable I'll be after eating. Sometimes I wish I lived somewhere where it wasn't freezing for all the good holidays, but I know that it just wouldn't be the same to have Christmas without the winter and snow.
