Mother Nature is a Tease

I always say that I'm not a big pink person, but lately I feel like I've been wearing more pink. Spring just makes me want to wear it more, and I definitely really like some shades more than others. As far as girly colors go, I'm more of a purple person all the way. Purple is my favorite color.









Well, it's the end of March and we are still getting 30 degree weather and snow showers. I don't know what that's all about, but it should be in the 50s consistently by now! At this point we are just getting teased with one really warm, nice day where we think that spring is finally here, only to be let down again. You are a cruel mistress, Mother Nature.









I had a pretty good weekend, especially since Saturday was one of the really warm days we get every now and then. Chris and I went out on a breakfast date (even though it was like...1:30 in the afternoon) at this place that is known to be really amazing and really inexpensive. I had heard good things about it, but never tried it so we decided to finally eat there. I had a cinnamon roll pancake and fresh strawberries. Chris got eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. We split everything and it was all delicious. After that, we headed to a vineyard to do a wine tasting as a way to celebrate our anniversary since we didn't really get to on our actual anniversary due to work. But there will be more on that in a later post. ;)











You can see that the snow has almost melted, finally. I don't think we will get any more accumulating snow, which is good. I just can't wait to be able to go out without a heavy coat! I went to Goodwill the other day and I was so annoyed with all the layers I still have to wear to keep warm. Trying things on in the winter can be such a hassle with all the things you have to take off and then put back on!

So I will be starting my internship tomorrow. That means that I will now have two jobs, an internship, and school on my plate. My internship is very lax, though and I think I will enjoy it immensely and learn a lot. Everything you'd want in an internship! I'm excited to find out what I will be learning. I was told that it'll be kind of all over the place, but I'm completely fine with that. I like variety in my day, and I also want to learn a variety of things from all the different aspects of the library. I can't wait! :)
