I saw the new Amazing Spiderman movie Sunday night. I haven't cried that hard at a movie in a while. Maybe since Deathly Hallows Pt. 2. I'm not going to ruin anything plot-wise, of course. I thought it was good. I always liked Spiderman and I like these new versions better than the Tobey Maguire ones. I think that Spiderman's part and dialogue is written better here and more true to his personality in the comics and cartoons with all his quips and smart aleck comments.

A lot of people think that the new movie isn't good because it lacks a ton of action, but I think it had a good story and enough action. I really liked the character of Electro/Max Dillon. Jamie Foxx did a good job and I just felt so bad for the character. I want to start reading more graphic novels about Spiderman, but I just don't have the time, especially when I already have piles of unread books that I own.

I'm officially done with this semester! Woo! I thought I was done last Friday after I submitted a project, but it turned out that I still had a final assignment to do. It was really easy, though, and I got it done last night so now I REALLY don't have to worry about schoolwork for a couple of weeks. And I think that one of my classes doesn't start until June 2, so I'll only have one class for a bit.

So, the next few days are going to be hectic! This weekend, especially. I am working a carnival at the library Saturday morning, then I have two back to back family parties. Sunday is Mother's Day and we are going to celebrate with brunch! Time is going by so quickly. I can't believe it's already been over a month that I've been working and interning at the libraries. I already have about 60-70 hours at my internship out of the 150 I need, so I'm doing good!

So pretty, Sara!! Love this dress. Also, they shot a bit of the new Spiderman movie in Rochester! It was so weird to have them here, haha.

The best part about spring is the cherry blossoms. They are so freaking pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love your dress! Anything floral wins my heart.
Ya know, I saw the first Spiderman at a drive in when I was little and I liked it. But, Spiderman can never compare to Batman in my mind. And does Tankgirl count as a superhero because my god is she badass.
awh your outfit and location is gorgeous :) LOVE this look.

ReplyDeleteI do love spring, when the trees are blossoming and the tulips and daffodils come up. I only wish it lasted longer, the blooms always seem to be gone so quickly. This year has been a real treat for me, that the trees are still blooming this late in spring. I wish I could freeze time for a while and revel in it!
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, this dress is completely adorable! I love florals, but there is something so unique about this one. Very pretty!

I'm glad you enjoyed it.. I feel like all I've been hearing is negative things about the movie and Andrew Garfield's Spiderman and I was starting to feel like one of the only ones who like him.
ReplyDeleteThese photographs are gorgeous! Such a beautiful location and I love how you're incorporated in them. Sweet outfit as well <3
Congrats on being done with the semester!
ReplyDeleteI love string just for the flowers, I need to go down to own botanical garden and check all the flowers out!
