The hat is the other vintage one that I got at the vintage show at the beginning of April. The tag says it's from the 20s! It also said it was $55, but I got it for only $5. When I got it, I knew I wanted to wear it with this dress. It works well for a beachy outfit.

I'm making it a goal of mine this summer to finally tour the inside of a lighthouse and climb up to the top. I tried a couple of times last summer, but the people who ran the tours of the lighthouse I was trying to see were just really unreliable. This time I'm going to find a lighthouse that does consistent, scheduled tours and just go!

These red shoes are really proving to be a good investment. I've worn them a lot and it helps that they are pretty comfy. I've said this before, but I really love wearing red. I love making it the main color of an outfit, but I also love adding it to an outfit to give it that extra pop. It's a really versatile color!

Welp, it's May already! The time is going by so fast, maybe because I'm keeping so busy. This month I'm excited to see the new Spiderman movie, see The Aquabats live, and to have a small break from classes before the summer semester. As of today, I will officially have two weeks of not having to worry about assignments, readings, or any schoolwork! Hooray!

ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! Weirdly I think my favourite part is the cardigan....stupid I know when the rest of the outfit is so cute but I spend half my life looking for cropped jackets & cardigans that would work in my wheelchair.

ReplyDeleteAww, that bust does look a little big. Does the dress have a side zip? You could try running the sides down slimmer with a straight stitch on a sewing machine? Alternatively if it does have a side zip, you should try darts, they're awesome!
