I love this sweater. I love that it's big and drapey and I love the pattern. It sort of reminds me of this sweater my mom used to have that was probably from the 80s or 90s when geometric stuff was in. I don't wear black often, and it's even more rare that I wear black without any pops of color, but I was feeling in a black and white mood, plus I wanted to wear this new lipstick I got and it just has a dark feel to it. I want to wear it all the time, but I feel like it's too dramatic for every day wear at work.

I also rarely wear pants. I tend to always change into jeans when I get home from work and I'm going to go somewhere in the colder months. I wear pants more in the dead of winter too, but I try to wear dresses and skirts as much as I can. I love high-waisted jeans, though, and these ones from Urban Outfitters are great.

My mom would always tell me that I look good in hats and always exclaim that she looks terrible in them. To be honest, I can't say if that's true because she never wears them so I have never been able to see. I don't wear hats too often, but I do think that they can really change the vibe of an outfit. It's amazing how one piece of clothing or an accessory can add so much to an entire outfit.

So I am officially done with the fall semester! I don't have to think about classes again for almost a month. Woo! This semester was a good one, and I'm so glad I took the young adult literature class. It was probably the most fun class I've taken in this program, and definitely one that I was the most into. Who can hate a class where you get to read novels instead of textbooks?

When I was younger and didn't have jobs to worry about, I used to look forward to winter break so much. I would make a to-do list for all of my breaks and try to do as much as possible. Even when I was only working one part-time job, it felt great to have extra time not devoted to classes to get things done and have fun. I often wish that I could take a week off just to have a "staycation" and get things done that I never get around to. Maybe I'll take one sometime soon. For now, I'm looking forward to going to Florida in a couple of months!
