After many more hours of searching, I came across two dresses on Lindy Bop. I wasn't sure which I'd like more, so I ordered both and decided I'd send whichever one I liked less back. One was a deeper bottle green color and the other was this one that I ended up picking. The other one just didn't sit right with my bust. But I'm glad I ended up with this one even though it's a brighter green because I love it and it worked out great with my holly crown.

Speaking of this holly crown... it took me forever to decide on a crown. I searched and searched through Etsy and finally decided on this one. I swear I spend too much time trying to make decisions about the most trivial things. I am such an over-thinker, it's ridiculous. So anyway...I chose this one and I'm glad because it's a great fit and it went perfect with my dress.

I was hoping for a brighter silver for my shoes, but these were the closest I could find in the right heel and style I like. I got lucky because it was 50 degrees on Christmas, so I wasn't too cold in my short sleeves and thin pantyhose.

What's funny is that I ended up getting three dresses from three different people for Christmas, and they were all from Lindy Bop too just like my Christmas dress. I can't wait to style them! They have such great vintage-inspired stuff and it's reasonably priced too.

This outfit is so holiday perfect! It's actually quite similar to one I did with a green dress and a holly crown as well! Although, my dress was admittedly much more chartreuse and your holly crown is nicer looking. I always forget to search Etsy for such things! Also this dress looks like it was made for you! It fits so well!
ReplyDeleteI found you on the ModCloth Style Gallery, and can't wait to see more of your posts!

This green dress is gorgeous on you! You look so festive and pretty. I love the floral crown with this dress! I usually go the red route on Christmas too but I love green dresses too. They really are more difficult to find! I found an awesome green velvet one for this Christmas though.
ReplyDeleteHope you had an awesome New Year's Eve! It sure looked like it on Instagram!

I love this shade of green, its so stunning. Your whole look is so festive and lovely :) I hope you had a good holiday season and have a good year ahead :)
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is super pretty, and I really like this dress that you ended up with. I've found that LuLu*s measurements can be a little misleading, too! I can't wait to see you style the other Lindy Bop dresses!

I havent checked out Lindy Bop yet! I'm going to have to do that soon. I absolutely love this dress and the crown!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I also received a lindybop dress for Christmas, but sadly it was too big- hoping the 8 will not be too big either! I really like their dresses. Do you do swing dancing? I just wondered from your blog title!x
ReplyDeleteI don't swing dance, but I always wanted to learn!
DeleteI've also just realised the dress you're wearing is the one I hoped for when I hinted at green dress from Lindybop- the colour looks different here!x
ReplyDeleteThis is the perfect holiday outfit! I love this dress, and you really pull off the holly crown well. I've been searching for a flower crown, but haven't found the perfect one yet. If you don't mind me asking, who did you go through on Etsy?
ReplyDeleteHi Lindsey! Thank you for your kind words. :) I got the crown through Orange You Peachy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/211372938/holly-rustic-woodland-crown-holiday
DeleteThank you so much for getting back to me, Sara! I'm going to check out this shop ASAP. :)
