Recently, Downtown Disney was renovated and renamed Disney Springs. It still looks pretty much the same as before. It just has some new shops and restaurants and a parking garage added to it. There are still some things that I don't think are open yet either such as a new steakhouse restaurant. Another new thing that they had were these cars that can also be driven in the water which were pretty awesome. We went here two times during our stay. It's still hard to call it Disney Springs because I think it will forever be Downtown Disney to me.

The main thing we do here is visit the giant Disney store called World of Disney. They have so many things that it can be overwhelming trying to look at it all. They have a whole princess section and within this section there are mini sections for each princess with dresses, shoes, and accessories. I would freak out if I were a little girl and seeing all of that before me.

We usually have lunch at Planet Hollywood, but it was closed due to renovations. Instead, we had lunch at a place called Earl of Sandwich which was good. I was still trying to stick to eating healthy during my vacation, so I usually had salads for lunch.

I love the little details that Disney always pays attention to. It still amazes me the amount of work and detail that was/is put in to all the Disney parks and areas. I have a book called
The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World that tells you every single little thing about all of the parks and where to find all kinds of hidden Disney gems that you might not have noticed otherwise. I plan to read it in more depth right before I actually go to a Disney park so it's all fresh in my mind. I might even bring it with me! It would be fun to try to find everything they mention....like a Disney-themed scavenger hunt. :)
This looks like so much fun!

Hahhaha "it's basically the same." Yeah, sometimes renovations result in stuff that's just different or newer, but I'm glad it's still the same thing to you in your heart. It's such a cute place! And I love that pink top on ya. <3
